We know the art and science of events.

As a Raleigh wedding planner, I’ve seen it all, so I know what works and what doesn’t. Instead of using your lunch break to contact florists and play floor-plan Tetris, allow Slauer Events to do that leg work. We use our event experience to guide clients through the process, allowing them to fully enjoy the planning of such a meaningful event!

Full-Service Planning

This service produces a polished, purposeful, and cohesive event, and makes the planning process enjoyable. We start with listening. Our clients feel seen, heard, and known. It’s with that attitude that we craft your design concept, develop a budget, build your vendor team, and coordinate the logistics of wedding weekend. When your event is in the hands of a professional who cares, you can be present for all the love, joy, and merriment of your wedding.

Event Management

While full-service planning is our bread and butter, we do accept a select number of event management projects per year. It’s similar to month-of coordination, but comes with a little extra support along the way: a kick off meeting and monthly check-ins from the moment you book with us. At 8 weeks out, we’ll start working on the event logistics (timeline, ceremony plan, inventory list, and floor plan). This package works well for weddings with a total budget of $50k or under.

“When my husband and I got engaged, I asked several of my married friends what they wished they'd done differently when they were planning their weddings. The #1 piece of advice I received was, HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER. So, my husband and I did a bit of research and decided to hire Rachel and her team for their full wedding planning services. She took our basic ideas and transformed them into a cohesive vision that captured the spirit of our relationship in a way that we never could've done on our own. We were beyond thrilled with Rachel and every single vendor she recommended. And on top of all that, Rachel is just a genuinely kind human. She was fun to work with and we felt truly cared for. ”
